The consumer Product team is looking for project managers who can thrive in a fast-paced workplace where both individual drive and team collaboration are the keys to success. Map App program managers are engaged with all aspects of the project from requirements analysis through product definition, design, engineering, QA, deployment, and aftercare.
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted partner with each of our internal partners to help guide the design and evolution of our platform. A firm grasp of the fundamentals of program management is important, but there is more required than just the typical skill set. We act not only in the best interest of the projects under our care, but are expected to always keep in mind what is best for our users, the group and the company. Being able to think critically as well as the ability to productively debate the value of a given approach are required skill sets.
This position demands somebody who can look forward and anticipate problems (both technological and otherwise) far enough in advance to allow them to be dealt with before they arise. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are must-haves for any candidate. Being a self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership is also important as the team is looking for the kind of person who can dive right into a problem and resolve it without having to be asked to do so.

BS/B.Tech/MS/MBA in CS/EE or equivalent experience
